A collection of one-off silk scarves have been hand-painted by some of the UK’s hottest designers and are being auctioned for Save the Children by Mary Portas’ Living & Giving shops. Luxury accessories label, Age of Reason, have provided the UK made scarves for the project.

The personalised designs from the likes of Julien MacDonald, Joan Collins’s daughter Tara Newley and May Fair Hotel Artist in Residence Marc McGreevy visualise their own childhood memories in support of Save the Children’s newborn campaign. Launching on eBay on Thursday 13th February, all 10 Handpicked scarves are available to the highest bidder when the action closes 10 days later on Sunday 23 February. Visit www.savethechildren.org.uk/handpicked to find out more and make a bid.1
